| Spanish abstract | Hacia el final del libro de los Ejercicios espirituales, Ignacio ofrece unos resúmenes de los misterios de la vida de Cristo (Ej 261-312). Para la tercera semana, encontramos diez misterios (289-298). En este artículo pretendemos destacar cómo Ignacio lee los evangelios, cómo ha entendido la Pasión de Cristo. La metodología consiste en el estudio de la selección y el uso que Ignacio hace de estos misterios. A través de las omisiones y de los añadidos ignacianos al texto evangélico se nos va revelando cuáles son sus acentos particulares, contribuyendo así a que perfilar mejor qué es lo que Ignacio ofrece al ejercitante como materia, como medios, y como fin de la oración. |
| English abstract | Toward the end of the book of the Spiritual Exercises, Ignatius offers some summaries of the mysteries of the life of Christ (Ex 261-312). We find ten mysteries in the third week (289-298). In the present article, we intend to highlight how Ignatius reads the Gospels and, how he understood the Passion of Christ. Our methodology studies the selection and use that Ignatius makes of these mysteries. Through Ignatian’s omissions and additions to the Gospel text, his particular theology and spirituality are revealed to us, thus contributing to a better outlining of what Ignatius offers the retreatant as the material, the means, and the goal of the prayer. |
