| English abstract | The tho u ght of F erdinand E bner (188 2 -19 3 1) is characteri z ed b y the p u rs u it of the tr u l y spirit u al dimension of the h u man e x istence. The starting point of his search for meaning is the realit y of his o w n life marked b y illness and the philosoph y of the earl y t w entieth cent u r y that oscillates bet w een the crash of idealism on the one hand, and the e x altation of e x istentialism on the other. In addition to these factors is the e x perience pro v oked b y the catastrophe of World War I and, in a partic u larl y decisi v e manner, the C hristian faith. The peak of his search is characteri z ed b y a ret u rn to the so u rce of C hristian faith, u nderstood as the creati v e Word of G od, as pne u matolog y , original dialog u e. The conseq u ence of this w ill be the enhancement of personal relationships in contrast to the general tendenc y of an E go totall y closed in itself |
