English abstract Bullying is related to all forms of aggressive, intentional and repeated behaviors, made by one or more students against one or more others and executed within a power-imbalance relationship with no clear motivation. Although traditionally interventions are carried out within the school, the family should also be involved because it plays a vital role if the situation is to be fully resolved. This paper aims to review the literature on the subject, focusing on the importance of the family as the focus of intervention when one of its members is a victim of bullying
Portuguese abstract O bullying está relacionado a todas as formas de comportamentos agressivos, intencionais e repetidos, adotadas por um ou mais estudantes contra outro(s), as quais ocorrem em uma relação desigual de poder, sem motivação evidente. Tradicionalmente, intervenções focadas na escola têm sido a normativa para resolver problemas relacionados ao bullying. Todavia, a família também deve ser envolvida para que o problema possa ser totalmente resolvido. Assim, o objetivo deste artigo é apresentar uma revisão de literatura sobre o tema, abordando a importância da família como foco de intervenção quando um de seus membros está sendo vítima de bullying
