| Spanish abstract | El estudio describe en detalle la evolución histórica de la investigación educacional en Colombia a partir de los años 50. En dicho país los inicios de la investigación han estado marcados por los intereses de los organismos internacionales que requieren información confiable para orientar su intervención en educación así como dar cuenta del impacto de su inversión. El artículo también se refiere al nacimiento de las ciencias sociales y su impacto en la investigación educacional, a los docentes en su rol de investigadores finalizando con la investigación pedagógica en las universidades. El autor concluye con la necesidad de delimitar teóricamente el concepto de "prácticas de enseñanza" para lograr una articulación efectiva de éstas con las problemáticas en y fuera del aula |
| English abstract | The study gives a detailed account of the historical evolution of educational research in Colombia since the 50s. Beginnings of research in that country have been marked by the interest of international organizations which require reliable information to guide their intervention in education as well as give account of their investment. The article also refers to the birth of social sciences and its impact on educational research, the role of teachers as researchers and finishes with the pedagogical research in universities. The author concludes with the need to establish the theoretical boun- daries of the "teaching practices" concept so as to achieve an effective articulation of them with issues inside and outside the classroom |
