| Spanish abstract | El estudio del pensamiento educativo y las Ciencias de la educación en Cuba en los últimos años, ha cobrado significativa importancia y se vitaliza para propiciar de esta forma, el rescate de la historia de las instituciones educativas cubanas en sus diferentes épocas y su contribución a la conformación de la identidad cultural cubana. El propósito del estudio que se presenta, es revelar la influencia que ejerció el legado educativo del pedagogo francés Juan Bautista de La Salle a la educación cubana y en consecuencia a la conformación de la identidad cultural de la nación y de la sociedad espirituana. Se parte del análisis del modelo educativo que caracterizó a los colegios dirigidos por los Hermanos La Salle y sus peculiaridades en Cuba, se estudia el Colegio La Natividad de La Salle en Sancti Spíritus, como una institución que desde la instrucción y con métodos educativos propios, aportó a la conformación de los saberes de la localidad espirituana. La socialización de estas aportaciones, constituye parte de las acciones que contribuyen al desarrollo de la del conocimiento identitario en la sociedad cubana |
| English abstract | The study of educational thought and Education Sciences in Cuba, in recent years, has gained significant importance and is vitalized to promote the rescue of the history of Cuban educational institutions in their different periods and their contribution to the conformation of the Cuban cultural identity. The purpose of the study presented is to reveal the influence exercised by the educational legacy of the French pedagogue Juan Bautista de La Salle over Cuban education and, consequently, on the conformation of the cultural identity of the nation and the society of Sancti Spíritus. From the analysis of the educational model that characterized the schools run by La Salle brothers and their peculiarities in Cuba, La Natividad de La Salle School in Sancti Spíritus is studied, as an institution that from the instruction and with its own educational methods, contributed to the conformation of the cultural identity of the people of Sancti Spíritus. The socialization of these contributions is a part of the actions that contribute to the development of the cultural identity in the Cuban society |
