| English abstract | The following study describes and analyzes the competitiveness of the tourist accommodation industry in Puerto Varas, Chile, using two basic methodologies: the Porter method for the structural analysis of the industry and the strategic groups analysis, in order to detect the structural factors that define the expected gains and the long term profitability of this industry, and to identify the characteristics and the behavior of the most significant competitors |
