| Spanish abstract | El artículo analiza las transformaciones de los espacios rurales del Partido de Tandil, a través de indagaciones centradas en el avance de la intensificación productiva de las acciones (sojización – pools de siembra – feed lots) y sus resultantes: deterioro de recursos naturales, desplazamientos de sistemas productivos, principalmente ganadero, hegemonía del monocultivo y expulsión de actores. El mismo se sostiene en una visión de la ruralidad construida desde los vínculos urbano–rurales, para comprender los cambios e interpretar los escenarios futuros. La metodología se estructuró alrededor de la triangula-ción para lo cual se relevaron datos cuantitativos y cualitativos, a través de entrevistas no estructuradas y el análisis comparativo de dos momentos a partir de imágenes satelitales. El universo de análisis es el Partido de Tandil, localizado al Sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina |
| English abstract | This article aims to show the actual scenario of changes in the uses of rural land in Tandil, by means of investigations focused on the progress of productive instensification of the actions (sojización – pools of crops – feed lots) and their results: natural resources deterioration, displacement of productive systems, mainly livestock, predominance of a single crop and expulsion of rural actors. It has been developed, based on a theoretical framework which starts from the analysis of ER from a vision of rurality, built from the urban-rural links, to understand the changes and to interprete the future scenarios. The methodology was structured around the triangulation for which quantitative and qualitative data were revealed, through non-structured interviews and the processing and comparison of satellite images. The two used images correspond to the last Agriculture and Livestock Census (1988 and 2008). The universe of analysis is Tandil, located in the Southeast of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina |
