| Spanish abstract | En la agricultura, para el control de plagas o malezas se utilizan diversos medios y técnicas. Por ello se considera de vital importancia el conocimiento exhaustivo de los diferentes productos y sus efectos medioambientales, por parte del profesional agrónomo, en función de ofrecer un servicio de calidad. Estos productos son denominados pesticidas, los cuales son sustanciaso mezclas de sustancias dirigidas a destruir, prevenir, repelero mitigar alguna plaga. Dicho término se puede utilizar para designar compuestos como herbicida, fungicida, insecticida, o algunas otras sustancias utilizadas en el control de plagas. Estas últimas afectan a los cultivos, las personas y los animales, lo que repercute de forma negativa en la sociedad y la producción de alimentos. En tal sentido, en este artículose hace referencia a los herbicidas, su clasificación, modo de aplicación, así como la importancia de su conocimiento para el ingenieroagrónomo |
| English abstract | In agriculture, various means and techniques are used to control pests or weeds. Therefore, it is considered of vital importance the exhaustive knowledge of the different products and their environmental effects, on the part of the agronomist, in order to offer a quality service. These products are called pesticides, which are substances or mixtures of substances aimed at destroying, preventing, repelling or mitigating a pest. Said term can be used to designate compounds such as herbicide, fungicide, insecticide, or some other substances used in the control of pests. The latter affect crops, people and animals, which negatively affects society and food production. In this sense, in this article reference is made to herbicides, their classification, mode of application, as well as the importance of their knowledge for the agronomist |
