| Spanish abstract | La educación superior, en su sentido amplio, se basa en dos premisas fundamentales: primero, lo social, en el desarrollo del individuo con el entorno; y segundo, lo laboral, que implica la inserción de él en el mercado de trabajo. El presente artículo es relevante, porque expresa la relación existente entre la oferta académica de la UNERMB con el mercado laboral del Municipio Baralt, indicando la pertinencia de esta institución de educación superior con las necesidades de la sociedad, específicamente con el sector empresarial. Se aplicó una estadística descriptiva correlacional, en una muestra de 32 estudiantes cursantes del X semestre y 22 coordinadores de recursos humanos de las empresas del Municipio, teniendo como resultado un coeficiente de Pearson igual a 0, por lo que se concluye que no existe relación entre la oferta académica de laUNERMBy el mercado laboral del Municipio Baralt del Estado Zulia |
| English abstract | Superior education, in its broad sense, is based on two fundamental premises: first, social elements in the individual’s development with the environment; and second, labor-related elements, implying the individual’s insertion into the labor market. This article is relevant because it expresses the existing relationship between the academic offering of theUNERMBand the labor market of the Baralt Municipality, indicating the relevance of this superior education institution to society’s needs, specifically in the business sector. A descriptive correlational statistic was applied to a sample of 32 students studying the tenth semester and 22 human resource coordinators from companies in the Municipality, with a resulting Pearson’s coefficient equal to 0. This result led to the conclusion that there is no relationship between the academic offering of the UNERMB and the labor market in the Baralt Municipality of the State of Zulia |
