| Spanish abstract | Para hablar de cultura, se hace necesario remitirse a una definición textual, y según lo planteado por la Real Academia de la Lengua, se conoce como cultura al conjunto de modos de vida y costumbres, conocimientos y grado de desarrollo artístico, científico, industrial, en una época, de un determinado grupo social. También lo define como el conjunto de las manifestaciones en que se expresa la vida tradicional de un pueblo. Lo anterior, es la base fundamental para este trabajo, que tiene como fin analizar el contexto cultural en América Latina, visto desde los casos relevantes para países como Colombia, Ecuador, Perú y Costa Rica. El análisis se fundamenta en el contexto Sociodemográfico, la diversidad etnolingüística y el patrimonio cultural de cada uno de estos países. La información fue obtenida en gran parte del sistema de información cultural de las Américas, donde se obtuvo información de primera mano de países como Costa Rica, Ecuador y Perú, el resto de información relacionada con Colombia se obtuvo de fuentes directas del Departamento Nacional de Estadística DANE. Se concluye que el desarrollo y el patrimonio cultural tienen una estrecha relación, debido al aporte de este último al bienestar general de las sociedades, dado que desde la cultura se pueden hacer aportes significativos al desarrollo social y económico de una población, dónde el desarrollo sólo puede alcanzarse en la medida en que dichos procesos se adelanten de manera consciente y armónica y por supuesto en la medida en que cada uno de estos procesos esté encaminado a lograr el bien común |
| English abstract | To speak of culture, it is necessary to refer to a textual definition, and as presented by the Royal Academy of Language, known as culture as a whole way of life and customs, knowledge and degree of artistic, scientific, industrial, at a time of a particular social group. It also defined as the set of demonstrations in the traditional life of a people is expressed. This is the fundamental basis for this work, which aims to analyze the cultural context in Latin America, seen from the relevant cases for countries like Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Costa Rica. The analysis is based on the socio-demographic context, ethno-linguistic diversity and cultural heritage of each of these countries. The information was obtained in much of the cultural information system of the Americas, where firsthand information from countries was obtained as Costa Rica, Ecuador and Peru, all other information relating to Colombia was obtained from direct sources of the National Department of Statistics DANE. It is concluded that the development and cultural heritage are closely related, due to the contribution of the latter to the general welfare of societies, since from the culture can make significant social and economic development of a population contributions, where development only it can be achieved to the extent that these processes are ahead of conscious and harmonious way and of course to the extent that each of these processes is aimed at achieving the common good |
