| English abstract | This article seeks to comprehend how are articulated in the current historical bloc led by the Bolivian government of Evo Morales the elements of national-popular and indigenism. The hypothesis underlying the work is that the turbulent five-year period from 2000-2005 marks a collapse of the previous hegemony of historical bloc and the rise of a counter-hegemonic movement that managed to rearticulate based on the rescue of the memory of the horizons of national-popular and indigenism to the present throughout the history of the country. Thus, understanding the influences of these two Bolivian political traditions is key to well understand the potential and prospects of the Morales government itself |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente artigo busca compreender o modo como se articulam no atual bloco histórico boliviano liderado pelo governo de Evo Morales os elementos de nacional-popular e indigenismo. A hipótese subjacente ao trabalho é que o turbulento quinquênio de 2000-2005 marca um colapso da hegemonia do bloco histórico anterior e a ascensão de um movimento contra-hegemônico que logrou se rearticular baseado no resgate da memória dos horizontes de nacional-popular e indigenismo presentes ao longo da história do país. Dessa maneira, compreender as influências dessas duas tradições políticas bolivianas é chave para bem compreender as potencialidades e perspectivas do próprio governo Morales |
