Lettres, carnets et textes retrouvés [1914-1967J, aparecido en 2009). El texto analizado ofrece detalles importantes que revelan el compromiso intelectual y moral del Bataillon civil, y que son, ajuicio de la autora, poco conocidos para la mayoría. Se trata, pues, de un libro que merece ser leído y saboreado por todo hispanista actual: integrar la imagen del Bataillon civil con la del enorme y delicado filólogo e historiador que fue, resulta profiláctico en esta hora de desengaño, decepción Y olvido |
| English abstract | In this paper, the author makes a eareful reading of the book of Claude Bataillon (Mareel Bataillon, hispanisme et engagement. Lettres, carnets et textes retrouvés [1914-1967], published in 2009). The analyzed text provides impor-tant details that reveal the intelleetual and moral eommitment of BatailIon, whieh are, in the opinion of the author, barely known. It is, therefore, a book that deserves to be read and savored by all Hispanists.
