| Spanish abstract | Este artigo foi elaborado a partir de um esforço de sistematização de algumas questões referentes à pesquisa que se propõe a estudar fenômenos sociais tendo a psicanálise como aporte teóricometodológico. As idéias defendidas aqui se articulam em torno de um diálogo com o texto de Clarke (2002) e da reflexão sobre uma experiência de pesquisa relacionada ao campo da Educação. Entre outros aspectos, Clarke discute o papel da entrevista na pesquisa, e defende que a interpretação psicanalítica não tem lugar no momento da entrevista; interpretação é dos dados coletados. A tese central neste trabalho, ao contrário, defende a relevância da interpretação da transferência estabelecida no processo de entrevista, guardados, evidentemente, alguns cuidados. Isso permite um vínculo diferenciado entre pesquisador e pesquisado, pois ligado à comunicação inconsciente que se estabelece entre eles. Permite ainda a melhor delimitação do objeto de pesquisa e contribui para a compreensão da dinâmica social que se quer investigar. Para isso, é preciso que o pesquisador faça uso de alguns procedimentos metodológicos originados na psicanálise, mas não exclusivos dela. A discussão final conclui que ao introduzir o inconsciente na investigação de questões sociais, o pesquisador introduziu-se a si mesmo como sujeito do inconsciente e precisa construir instrumentos metodológicos capazes de apreender os conteúdos determinados pela interação entre os inconscientes e a temática da pesquisa |
| English abstract | This article was written in an attempt to define a systematic method for the analysis of some issues regarding research on social phenomena using psychoanalysis as the methodological tool. This discussion is supported both in dialogue with the work published by Clarke (2002) and in reflecting on the experience of research in the field of education. Among other aspects, Clarke discusses the place of the interview in research and points out that psychoanalytic interpretation does not take place within the interview, interpretation is of the data collected (p.176). The central thesis in this work, by contrast, defends the importance of an "interpretative endeavour" in the process of interviewing – that is, interpretation of the transference established in the interview process – though with appropriate caution. This would allow the relationship between the researcher and the participant to be linked to the unconscious communication between them. It would also afford better delimitation of the object of research and would contribute towards understanding the social dynamics that are the object of investigation. In order to do that, it is necessary for the researcher to make use of some methodological procedures which stem from the psychoanalytic field, but that are not exclusively employed in it. The final discussion concludes that, in introducing the unconscious in investigations of social issues, the researcher introduces himself as an unconscious subject and must develop methodological instruments able to grasp the content determined by the interaction between the unconscious and the subject of the research |
