| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo analiza el fenómeno de la migración centroamericana, especialmente la que se origina en el llamado “triángulo norte” de esta región, hacia Estados Unidos. Las causas que han originado que el corredor centroamericano se haya convertido en uno de los más grandes y problemáticos del mundo y sus consecuencias, tanto para los migrantes, como para los países de origen, tránsito y destino. | English abstract | This paper analyzes the phenomenon of Central American migration, especially the one that originates in the so-called "northern triangle" of this region, towards the United States. The causes that have caused the Central American corridor to become one of the largest and most problematic in the world and its consequences, both for migrants and for the countries of origin, transit and destination. Finally, the impact of this migration on North American society and the living conditions of immigrants is analyzed |
