| English abstract | This essay is about Ibovespa Investment Funds on Stocks, one of the options investors have in the financial market. Researching on the 13 largest Commercial Banks that is in the Brazilian Market, this essay will try to verify if those funds are successful, that means, if they beat the Ibovespa index in earnings. The works shows that there are no funds that beats the market constantly. As even if they have beat the market in wider time range, there are months where those funds were beat by the Ibovespa |
| Portuguese abstract | Este trabalho trata dos Fundos de Investimentos em Ações Ibovespa Ativo, uma das opções que os investidores têm no Mercado Financeiro. Através de uma pesquisa exploratória com os 13 maiores Bancos Comerciais que atuam no Brasil, buscou-se verificar se tais Fundos são eficazes, ou seja, proporcionam aos investidores uma rentabilidade superior à variação do Ibovespa. Foram encontrados indícios que mostram que não há Fundos totalmente eficazes, pois, mesmo que tenham superado o Ibovespa, dentro de um intervalo de tempo maior, há meses onde a rentabilidade apurada foi inferior |
