| Spanish abstract | La relación entre mandatos divinos y decisiones humanas se plantea como problema fundamental para la ética occidental desde tiempos inmemoriales. En Sófocles, aquella corresponde a un paralelismo que se intersecta cuando la acción humana transgrede la ley divina, sin que a los dioses les competa alguna responsabilidad por las faltas de los hombres. El propósito de este artículo es mostrar cómo Sófocles y su tesis de la soledad de la decisión ética se convierte en uno de los predecesores fundamentales de la tensión entre moral alienante y resistencia individual, poniendo al héroe trágico como símbolo de lo problémico y agonal |
| English abstract | The relationship between divine commandments and human decisions has been a fundamental problem for Western ethics since ancient times. In the tragedies of Sophocles, both components of the relationship interact without causally subjecting each other, as their dynamism corresponds to a parallelism that is intersected when human action transgresses divine law and gods are not responsible for the transgressions of men. This paper aims to show how Sophocles and his thesis on the loneliness of ethical decisions becomes one of the fundamental predecessors to the tension between alienating morality and individual resistance. The tragic hero is depicted as a symbol of the agonistic and problem-related issues both in theory and praxis |
