| Spanish abstract | Este artículo analizó el actuar de los empresarios en el proceso de conformación económica del transporte automotor, así como su impacto en la modernización y apertura comercial del espacio regional boyacense. Igualmente evidencia la relación de dichos actores con otros rubros como el automotriz, donde se encontraron redes familiares y empresariales que permitieron su despliegue en la fabricación de carrocerías y en el establecimiento de talleres y estaciones de gasolina. Por último se estableció un perfil de los empresarios donde se incorpora parte de la memoria histórica redimida en este trabajo |
| English abstract | This article pretends to analyze the actions of businessman in the economic conformation process of vehicle transportation, and its impact on trade opening and modernization of regional space boyacense. In the same way, this paper exposed the relationship of these actors with other economic headings like automotive were I found family and business networks that enabled the development in the manufacture of car bodies, and the establishment of workshops and gas stations. Finally, it established a profile about the businessman including a part of the historic memory |
