| Spanish abstract | El objetivo de este artículo es analizar los movimientos políticos encabezados por el nicaragüense César Augusto Sandino y el cubano Antonio Guiteras en sus respectivos países, pero en el contexto del nacionalismo revolucionario y de la lucha antimperialista de la región en la tercera década del siglo XX. Basado en un análisis comparativo y sustentado con fuentes primarias y secundarias, el artículo revela y demuestra las variantes del nacionalismo revolucionario expresado a partir de las condiciones políticas e ideológicas específicas de Nicaragua y Cuba de esos años, destacando, como principal hallazgo, la identificación y descripción de nombres, grupos, ideas, y organizaciones políticas en el proceso histórico que caracterizó a cada nación |
| English abstract | The objective of this article is to analyze the political movements led by Nicaraguan César Augusto Sandino and Cuban Antonio Guiteras in their respective countries, but in the context of revolutionary nationalism and the anti-imperialist struggle of the region in the third decade of the twentieth century. Based on a comparative analysis and supported by primary and secondary sources, the article reveals and demonstrates the variants of revolutionary nationalism expressed from the specific political and ideological conditions of Nicaragua and Cuba of those years, highlighting, as the main finding, the identification and description of names, groups, ideas, and political organizations in the historical process that characterized each nation |
