| Spanish abstract | La filosofía de Xavier Zubiri debe inscribirse en el marco de la fenomenología de Husserl y de la filosofía primera que remonta a Aristóteles, asumiendo, desde luego, el criticismo de Kant. En el ir a las cosas mismas, Zubiri tampoco seguirá a Husserl en el giro hacia la conciencia trascendental: no es la conciencia la que constituye a las cosas, no es la conciencia intencional el dato fenomenológico irrecusable. Lo que debe afirmarse, dice Zubiri, es que las cosas son de suyo lo que son; y siendo de suyo lo que son, están presentes en la inteligencia sentiente. A este estar presente de lo real en la inteligencia sentiente, Zubiri lo llama actualidad. El hombre no es una conciencia intencional; el hombre tiene, como su carácter más propio, ser una inteligencia sentiente en la que lo real no hace más que hacerse presente, tener actualidad. Pero lo real no sólo se hace presente en la inteligencia sentiente; lo real también se hace presente en el mundo. Y a la actualidad de lo real en el mundo, Zubiri la llama ser. Pero resulta que lo real en tanto sustantividad no es más que la actualización de un sistema de notas. | English abstract | The philosophy of Xavier Zubiri must take place within the framework of the phenomenology of Husserl and the first philosophy that dates back to Aristotle, assuming, of course, the criticism of Kant. On the way back to the things themselves, Zubiri will not follow Husserl in the shift to the transcendental consciousness: it is not the conscience that constitutes the things, nor is the intentional consciousness the last irreducible phenomenological given. What must be said, Zubiri thinks, is that things are de suyo (in its own right) what they are; and being de suyo (in its own right) what they are, they present themselves in the feeling intelligence which Zubiri calls actuality. Man is not an intentional consciousness; man has as its own being a feeling intelligence in which reality does nothing more than being present, having actuality. But reality is present not only in the feeling intelligence; reality also is also present in the world which Zubiri calls being. But it turns out that the real sustantivity as actuality is only an actualization of system of notes. Therefore, the presence of the real, the actuality, is the key concept and primer fact of the whole first philosophy |
