| Spanish abstract | La incidencia de las enfermedades alérgicas se encuentra a la alza en todo el orbe, sin que se haya definido completamente el por qué de este fenómeno. No se descarta la acción de distintos factores, como la contaminación atmosférica, el cambio climático, los nacimientos por cesárea y el exceso de higiene que impiden la adecuada colonización bacteriana y formación del sistema inmunológico, o la proliferación del estado de estrés. En todo caso, la Homeopatía se presenta como una opción efectiva para hacer frente a este problema que, de acuerdo con algunas estadísticas, podría afectar al 20% de la población mundial (aunque en algunos sectores específicos se alcanzarían cifras mayores al 40%), con la notable ventaja de atender la sintomatología particular de cada paciente. Más allá de las apreciaciones empíricas, algunos autores han desarrollado modelos experimentales que permiten verificar los buenos resultados del abordaje homeopático en los pacientes que sufren asma, rinitis alérgica y otras reacciones de hipersensibilidad aguda, en los que, en vez de tratar de inhibir o suprimir los síntomas, se prescriben medicamentos que llevan a la totalidad del individuo a restituir su equilibrio inicial. Es importante hacer un recorrido a lo largo de estos trabajos y conocer aquellas teorías que intentan explicar la fisiopatología de las afecciones alérgicas, ya que la demanda de atención médica homeopática para este tipo de enfermedades se encuentra actualmente en franco ascenso |
| English abstract | The allergic disease incidence is going upwards in the entire planet, without knowing exactly the cause of this phenomenon. Although facts like atmospheric pollution, changes in the climate, cesarean section childbirths, the excessive hygiene, an inadequate bacterial colonization, the lack of the immune system development, and stress are not ruled out. There is an association between these and the allergy frequency, the exact patophysyology has not been found. Homeopathy is presented like an effective choice to solve this problem that according to some statistics affects 20% of the world population (in some social groups may reach 40%) and with the great advantage of very particular attention of the symptoms of each patient. Further more than the empirical interpretations some authors have developed experimental assays that allow to verify the positive results of homeopathic treatment in patients with allergic rhinitis, asthma and other manifestations of acute hypersensitivity, which instead of prescribing drugs that suppress only the clinical manifestations of the disease, restores the total individual equilibrium. It is important to know that the research works that we show and know are theories that try to explain the pathophysiology of the allergic ailments in a moment that the search for a homeopathic medical attention is growing in this type of diseases |
