| Spanish abstract | un recurso del organismo para controlar algunas enfermedades; no obstante, esta idea comenzó a abandonarse a partir de los estudios del médico francés Claude Bernard (1813-1878), por lo que la medicina alópata empezó a considerarla como un evento perjudicial que se debe erradicar. Desde la perspectiva hahnemanniana, - rrecta para lograrlo, de modo que no debe suprimirse; al contrario, lo que propone es suministrar medicamentos que estimulen al cuerpo para continuar con esta labor, sólo que de manera ordenada o modulada. Más aún, recientes investigaciones in vitro en el campo de la inmunología apoyan el enfoque homeopático, ya que han sugerido que el aumento en la temperatura corporal es un recurso complejo que no sólo inhibiría el desarrollo de ciertos agentes patógenos, sino que contribuiría a que algunos mecanismos de la respuesta inmune funcionen mejor que a la temperatura normal. Así pues, el enfode los mecanismos generados por el sistema inmunológico durante siglos de evolución de los seres vivos. Presentamos a continuación la primera de dos partes de este trabajo |
| English abstract | Fever has been understood as a resource to control some diseases for a long time and by many civilizations; nonetheless, this idea began to be abandoned after the studies of the French physician Claude Bernard (1813-1878), who considered it as a event that should be eliminated. From the Hahnemannian point of view, fever expresses the organism’s efforts to restore its health and the right way to do it, that’s why it shouldn’t be suppressed; on the contrary, what is proposed is to provide drugs that stimulate the body to continue this labor in a ordered and modulated way. Furthermore, recent in vitro studies in the immunology field, support the homeopathic approach, because they have showed that the increase in body temperature is not only a complex resource that inhibits the growth of certain pathogens, but contribute to some immune response mechanisms, that work better in high temperature than a normal one. Thus the allopathic approach which considers that the fever should be reduced actually reduces the effectiveness of some mechanisms generated by the immune system for centuries of evolution of living beings |
