| Spanish abstract | La razón en su osadía también requiere método, porque al descubrir libertades, estas deben limitarse de acuerdo con el método, clave básica para comprender lo que la Ilustración tiene de propio y paradójico. Paradójico al clausurar el momento cultural iniciado en el Renacimiento y al abrir otro momento hasta hoy. En ese sentido, la Ilustración es un humanismo (no ya en el sentido de mejor manifestación en las experiencias literarias y artísticas) al buscar su mejor expresión en la lucha por los derechos del hombre; en lo fi losófi co y científi co, al indagar por la instauración científi ca de las comprensiones humanas tomando puesto en los saberes científi copositivos. Historia, etnología, fi losofía de la cultura y hasta sociología empiezan a desarrollarse y abrir sus posibilidades en la irrupción misma del conocimiento |
| English abstract | Reason in its boldness also requires method, because when discovering liberties, these must be limited in agreement with the method, basic key in order to understand what the Enlightenment has of unique and paradoxical. Paradoxical for closing the cultural moment initiated in the Renaissance, and for opening another moment until today. In that sense, the Enlightenment is a humanism (not in the sense of a better manifestation in the literary and artistic experiences) when looking for its best expression in the fi ght for the rights of man; in the philosophical and scientifi c fi elds, when researching for the scientifi c founding of human understandings with roots in scientist-positive knowledge. History, ethnology, philosophy of culture and even sociology begin to be developed and open their possibilities in the same irruption of knowledge |
