| Spanish abstract | Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Gobernador de Yucatán entre 1922 y 1923, fue un líder destacado del llamado socialismo yucateco. Reformador agrario y laboral, entró en conflicto con los latifundistas del henequén, quienes aprovecharon la oportunidad del alzamiento delahuertista para asestarle un golpe mortal. El artículo analiza las circunstancias que condujeron al asesinato de Carrillo Puerto, sus dos hermanos y colaboradores, así como el tema de la autoría intelectual y material de estos crímenes. El asunto nunca quedó resuelto del todo, pero este artículo aporta elementos que pueden contribuir a su esclarecimiento |
| English abstract | Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Yucatan Governor between 1922 and 1923 and labor and agrarian reformer, came into conflict with henequeneros who awaited the opportunity to deal a mortal blow, finally made on the occasion of the Delahuertista rebellion. We analyze the circumstances leading to the murder of Carrillo Puerto, his two brothers and collaborators in the cemetery of Mérida and its intellectual and material perpetrators. The case was never solved, but we point out elements that help to shed light on the issue |
