| Spanish abstract | Este trabajo muestra que la región del Alto Lerma es un espacio de organización compleja, donde se entrelazan procesos sociales y territoriales diversos, representados por la existencia de estructuras agrarias, urbanas e industriales. Cada una de estas estructuras tiene necesidades e intereses que definen las formas de apropiación, control y producción del espacio regional y, por lo tanto, constituyen factores determinantes de la configuración socioterritorial del Alto Lerma. | English abstract | This paper shows that the Alto Lerma Region is a space of complex organization, where diverse social and territorial processes are intertwined, represented by the existence of agrarian, urban and industrial structures. Each one of these structures have necessities and interests that define the appropriation, control and production of the regional space and, therefore, they are decisive factors of the socioterritorial configuration of Alto Lerma Region.The official statistical information is analyzed, as well as the available works, from an hypothetical-deductive perspective |
