| Spanish abstract | La investigación analiza los clusters de la agroindustria de frutas y hortalizas del estado de Veracruz, México, en sus principales productos: naranja, limón persa, papaya, piña, plátano, chayote y chile verde, mediante la teoría de localización y geografía económica (North y Krugman, 1995), el sistema del valor del cluster (Porter, 1998) y el tipo de cluster (Ramos, 1998; Altenburg, Meyer y Stamer 1999), para conocer la concentración geográfica de las empresas que están interconectadas, identificar las funciones de valor del cluster y el tipo de cluster a que pertenecen. La principal aportación de este trabajo radica en el análisis del cluster bajo estudio a través de las tres teorías antes mencionadas, donde la concentración geográfica de las empresas tienen interdependencias de materia prima - producto procesado y mercado - producto procesado, las funciones del valor del cluster están en las actividades primarias y el tipo de cluster es latinoamericano de modalidad fordista o producción en masa |
| English abstract | The research analyze the clusters of agroindustry fruits and vegetables from the state of Veracruz in its main products: orange, persian lemon, papaya, pineapple, banana, chayote and green chilli by location theory and economic geography (North y Krugman, 1995); the system value of the cluster (Porter, 1998) and the cluster type (Ramos, 1998; Altenburg, Meyer y Stamer 1999); to know the geographic concentration of companies that are interconnected, identify the functions of the cluster value and type of cluster to which they belong. The main contribution of this paper, lies in the analysis of the cluster under study through the three theories mentioned above, where the geographical concentration of enterprises have interdependencies of raw materials- product processing, and market - product processing, the functions of the value of the cluster are in primary activities and type of cluster is Latin American Fordist mode or mass production |
