| Spanish abstract | En este INFORME se muestra la exploración y el registro arquitectónico de un espacio subterráneo encontrado en las instalaciones de una escuela primaria, localizada en el Centro Histórico de la ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán, México. Se analizaron sus características, se hallaron diversas similitudes constructivas y funcionales con obras hidráulicas hispanoárabe medievales, y se establecieron las bases para la generación formal de un proyecto de intervención patrimonial que integre didáctica y lúdicamente estos espacios al contexto actual para la revalorización de ese patrimonio histórico y de su entorno inmediato |
| English abstract | This REPORT presents the exploration and architectural record of an underground space found within the facilities of a primary school, located in the Historical Center of the City of Mérida Yucatán, Mexico. The characteristics of this space were analyzed, finding several constructive and functional similarities with medieval Spanish-Arabic hydraulic works. The foundations were laid for the formal generation of a heritage intervention project that didactically and recreationally integrates these spaces into the current context for the revaluation of this historical heritage and its immediate surroundings |
