| Spanish abstract | Este artículo expone información del periódico de la Asociación de Damas Católicas de Guadalajara La Mujer Católica Jalisciense, el enfoque es la interpretación de fronteras simbólicas tejidas con base en contenidos diversos que nos aproximan a tipologías de los católicos relacionados con el catolicismo social de la ciudad durante los albores del siglo pasado. Las figuraciones de dos primeras fronteras simbólicas descritas en este trabajo están engranadas con experiencias o clasificaciones de acciones y posiciones católicas: tradicional y social; piadosas, caritativas, sociales y políticas. | English abstract | This assignment point out information of the newspaper of the Asociación de Damas Católicas de Guadalajara, La Mujer Católica Jalisciense, the focus is the interpretation of symbolic borders with the intention of reflect on different content that bring us closer to typologies of catholic related to social catholicism of the city during the dawn of the last century. The first two figurations of symbolic boundaries described in this paper are engaged with experiences or classifications of actions and catholic positions: traditional and social; pious, charitable, social and political.
