| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se analiza el índice de productividad del trabajo proporcionado por la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) para la última década del siglo XX y comienzos del siglo XXI, para lograr este objetivo fue implementado un Biplot usando software Libre R, aquí se describen las funciones creadas a tales efectos. El Biplot fue capaz de captar las variaciones de los índices de productividad del trabajo a través de los años de estudio, realizando una buena representación para la mayoría de los países. Los países que resultaron con mejores índices de productividad del trabajo son Polonia y Perú; mientras, que Venezuela y Ecuador fueron los países con peores índices a comienzo de la década del siglo XXI |
| English abstract | This paper analyzes the labor productivity index provided by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) for the last decade of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century, to achieve this goal, A Biplot was implemented using Free R software, for this the functions created for this purpose are described. The Biplot was able to capture the variations of labor productivity indexes through the years of study, making a good representation for most countries. The countries that showed the best indices of labor productivity are Poland and Peru; while Venezuela and Ecuador are the countries with the worst indices at the beginning of the 21st century |
