English abstract | Maximum daily rainfall predictions are the basis for designing floo estimation, particularly when rain gauge records and hydrometric information are not available. In the literature, regional methods are preferred when data, show outliers. In this work a description of the pluviometric information used is given, including the procedure followed for deputation in incomplete years. The superregion concept is also described, and the verification procedure is established for state of MIchoacán, Mexico. A contrast between regional and local predictions is formulated. booth estimated through the GEV distribution. Regional predictions were obtained with estimated statistic parameters by weighted transfer, with inverse distance from neighboring stations. Analyzing the numerical results shows the accuracy of the suggested procedure to compute daily rainfall predictions in any place, with return periods of up to 100 years |
