English abstract This research is based on the needs detected in the performance evaluation of the Electricity Technician, during the process of pre-professional practices in correspondence with the demands set forth in the Professional Model for Technical and Professional Education (ETP). Therefore, the objective of the research is to propose a methodological proposal of dimensions, sub-dimensions and indicators for students of the Electricity specialty, Medium Technical level, at the "Gervasio Cabrera Martínez" Polytechnic Center, which contributes to the improvement of the evaluation of the performance, during the process of pre-professional practices in correspondence with the demands set forth in the Professional Model for Technical and Professional Education. For this, the fundamental way of obtaining scientific knowledge was followed from the perspective of dialectical materialism and the cultural-historical approach. Consequently, theoretical methods were used, among which historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, documentary analysis stand out, which allowed to systematize the theoretical-methodological referents, empirical methods, such as observation, survey and interview, allowed to verify the state of of the research object, it was compared with the educational requirements and the research design was formed. The forms of implementation and evaluation were determined, in addition to obtaining the results in the validation of this during three years of systematic application in the "Gervasio Cabrera Martínez" Polytechnic Center, which made it possible to confirm the qualitative assessments made, that the methodological Proposal complies the purpose for which it was created.
Spanish abstract La presente investigación parte de las necesidades detectadas en la evaluación del desempeño en el Técnico Medio de Electricidad, durante el proceso de las prácticas preprofesionales en correspondencia con las exigencias planteadas en el Modelo del Profesional para la Educación Técnica y Profesional (ETP). Por lo tanto, el objetivo de la investigación es proponer una propuesta metodológica de dimensiones, subdimensiones e indicadores para los estudiantes de la especialidad Electricidad, nivel Técnico Medio, en el Centro Politécnico "Gervasio Cabrera Martínez", que contribuya al mejoramiento de la evaluación del desempeño, durante el proceso de las prácticas preprofesionales en correspondencia con las exigencias planteadas en el Modelo del Profesional para la Educación Técnica y Profesional.  Para ello se siguió la vía fundamental de obtención del conocimiento científico desde la perspectiva del materialismo dialéctico y el enfoque histórico cultural. En consecuencia, se utilizaron métodos teóricos entre los que se destacan histórico-lógico, el analítico-sintético, análisis documental los cueles permitieron sistematizar los referentes teóricos metodológicos, los métodos empíricos, como la observación, la encuesta y la entrevista, permitieron constatar el estado real del objeto de investigación, se comparó con las exigencias educativas y se conformó el diseño de la investigación. Se determinaron las formas de implementación y de evaluación, además de obtener los resultados en la validación de esta durante tres años de aplicación sistemática en el Centro Politécnico "Gervasio Cabrera Martínez", lo que posibilitó confirmar las valoraciones cualitativas realizadas, que la Propuesta metodológica cumple la finalidad para la cual fue creada.Abstract: This research is based on the needs detected in the performance evaluation of the Electricity Technician, during the process of pre-professional practices in correspondence with the demands set forth in the Professional Model for Technical and Professional Education (ETP).
