Resumen en inglés | During the Third Improvement of the National Education System of the Republic of Cuba, the adoption of actions in favor of the educational care of students, who for various reasons cannot attend school, gains greater strength. In this situation, the recommended modality is the itinerant educational service. Its implementation varies according to the characteristics of the students, their families, the contexts and the agents and agencies involved. In the Minas de Matahambre municipality, Pinar del Río province, limitations have been found in the cohesion of actions between different agents and agencies due to the rural conditions, far from each case and from the educational and health institutions themselves. To delve into this situation, theoretical and empirical methods were applied and descriptive statistics were used, which made possible the initial characterization of the itinerant educational service for students with physical-motor disabilities at the Carlos Juan Finlay Barrés special school. As a result, the main regularities of the itinerant educational servise process were determined, necessary for the establishment of a networking strategy that promotes the improvement of the educational modality studied. |
Resumen en español | En el marco del Tercer Perfeccionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Educación de la República de Cuba, cobra mayor fuerza la adopción de acciones a favor de la atención educativa de los educandos que por diversas causas no pueden asistir a la escuela. Ante esta situación la modalidad recomendada es la atención educativa ambulatoria. Su implementación varía según las características de los educandos, sus familias, los contextos y los agentes y agencias involucrados. En el municipio Minas de Matahambre, provincia Pinar del Río, se han podido constatar limitaciones en la cohesión de las acciones entre diferentes agentes y agencias dada las condiciones rurales, alejadas de cada caso y de las propias instituciones educativas y de salud. Para profundizar en esta situación, se aplicaron métodos del nivel teórico, empírico y se empleó la estadística descriptiva que posibilitó la caracterización inicial de la atención educativa por vía ambulatoria de los educandos con discapacidad físico-motora de la escuela especial Carlos Juan Finlay Barrés. Como resultado se determinaron las principales regularidades del proceso de atención educativa por vía ambulatoria, necesario para el establecimiento de una estrategia de trabajo en red que propicie el perfeccionamiento de la modalidad educativa estudiada.Abstract: During the Third Improvement of the National Education System of the Republic of Cuba, the adoption of actions in favor of the educational care of students, who for various reasons cannot attend school, gains greater strength.
