| English abstract | Within the process of evangelization that took place in Brazil the image of a white God has spread out, far away from the brasilian people marked by a black face point of identification. Black Pastoral Agents within the process of faith reflection based on the elements of the so called Negritude (blackness), started building a identification process of God’s Face with poor people face and, consequently, with black people’ s face. In the singing of a people, a group or a community of faith can be perceived the way to express their relationship with the sacred element. The reflections brough up from these singings will encompass a conception of Divinity and arise a theology in line with the wishes and aspirations of liberation. This paper results from a research work on the manifestation on the divine in the chanting of the Black Pastoral Agents of the catholic church in Brazil |
| Portuguese abstract | No processo de evangelização ocorrido no Brasil, difundiu-se uma imagem de um Deus branco, muito distante, do ponto de vista da identificação com o rosto do povo negro. Os Agentes de Pastoral Negros, no processo de reflexão da fé à luz dos elemetos da negritude, foram construindo uma identificação do rosto de Deus com o rosto do povo pobre e, consequentemente, com o rosto dos negros. No cantar de um povo, de um grupo, ou de uma comunidade de fé, pode ser percebida a forma de expressar sua relação com o elemento sagrado. As reflexões que nascem desse cantar vão encerrar uma concepção de Divindade e fazer nascer uma teologia em consonância com os anseios e aspirações de libertação. O presente texto resulta de um trabalho de investigação da manifestação do divino no cantar dos Agentes de Pastoral Negros na Igreja do Brasil |
