| English abstract | This study is aimed at discussing about the prose narrative methodology and the research technique of observation and consultation to the oral tradition. Herodotus used the philosophy of Anaxagoras to find out the origin of things or facts. Herodotus examined the cultural complexity of Egypt, and determined the Nile River as its unity: everything the river reaches is Egyptian.
