Se muestra como este trabajo inicial de Kracauer es en realidad un texto programático para el desarrollo de su pensamiento futuro. En él establece relaciones entre cultura popular (la novela de detectives) y la crítica de la moderna racionalidad científica. | English abstract | In this investigation about Siegfried Kracauer's thinking, we study The detective novel (1922-1923). We show how Kracauer's initial work is in fact a programmatic text that serves to develop his future thinking. In his novel, he connects popular culture (detective novels) with the critique of modern scientific rationality.
