| English abstract | This article analyzes Suetonius' Life of Nero trying to identify some elements that allow associating it with the Roman senatorial historiographical tradition, despite the minor importance given to such link by the modern critique. The primacy conferred to the works of Tacitus as well as the devalorization of Suetonius' literary style are some of the aspects that contributed to this latter reading |
