| English abstract | This article aims to bring to light some ethical issues involved in the relationship between researchers and interviewees, especially in studies based on the procedures of oral history in contexts marked by social inequality and by the activities of social movements. From the questioning of the validity of the research for the groups studied, it seeks to reflect on the possible implications of the statements for the respondents, the researchers’ dilemmas and their various attempts of retribution. It is highlighted the importance of the dialogue between the interpretations of the realities studied, which increases the possibility of the perspectives of the actors to reach other social and political spheres, enhancing their actions. The article also intends to highlight the role of the studies to stimulate the actors to review their practices |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo visa trazer à tona algumas questões éticas envolvidas na relação entre pesquisadores e entrevistados, especialmente nos trabalhos baseados nos procedimentos da história oral em contextos marcados pela desigualdade social e pela atuação de movimentos sociais. Partindo do questionamento sobre a validade das pesquisas para os grupos estudados, busca-se refletir sobre as possíveis implicações dos depoimentos para os entrevistados, sobre os dilemas dos pesquisadores e sobre as suas diversas tentativas de retribuição. Destaca-se a importância do diálogo entre as interpretações das realidades estudadas, que amplia a possibilidade das visões dos atores alcançarem outros âmbitos sociais e políticos, potencializando suas ações. Pretende-se evidenciar também o papel dos estudos para estimular os atores à revisão de suas práticas |
