| English abstract | The article deals with two districts of Teresina (PI), Buenos Aires and Água Mineral between 1960s and 1980s and the participation of women in the settlement of their districts. It intends to contribute to the city's historiographical production, especially which of the districts mentioned. The prioritized sources in the construction of the narrative where interviews using the methodology of Oral History, using life trajectory as a model. The documentation is filed at the Oral History Center of the Federal University of Piauí (NHO-UFPI) and resulted from collective or individual projects developed by professors and scholarship holders of PIBIC (Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships) in the university History Course during the 2000s. They were heard women with more spent time in their residence in the two districts. The memories, but also the forgetfulness of the social actors heard, were interpreted as the support of Pollock (1992, 1989); Bosi (1987); Ricoeur (2007); and Carlos (2004) |
| Portuguese abstract | O artigo versa sobre a participação de mulheres no surgimento dos bairros Bueno Aires e Água Mineral, em Teresina (PI), no período de 1960 a 1980, visando contribuir para a produção historiográfica da cidade, especialmente para a história dos dois bairros citados. As fontes priorizadas na construção da narrativa foram entrevistas, utilizando-se a metodologia da História Oral, tendo como modelo a trajetória de vida. A documentação está arquivada no Núcleo de História Oral da Universidade Federal do Piauí (NHO-UFPI) e resultou de projetos coletivos ou individuais desenvolvidos por professores e bolsistas do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica (PIBIC) do curso de História da universidade, durante a década de 2000. Foram ouvidas mulheres com mais tempo de moradia em ambos os bairros. As lembranças, mas também os esquecimentos, dos atores sociais ouvidos foram interpretados como o apoio de Pollack (1992, 1989); Bosi (1987); Ricoeur (2007); e Carlos (2004) |
