| English abstract | This interview with historian Bruno Leal, held during the 4th International Symposium of the Brazilian Network of Public History and the 5th Annual Conference of the International Federation of Public History at the University of São Paulo, brings reflections on the art of historicizing, with emphasis on the social function of the historian of the 21st century, giving the reader a pertinent account of the strengthening of studies in public history and digital history in Brazil under the banner of the history of present time.
