| Spanish abstract | En este trabajo nos introducimos en el estudio de los libros de fábrica de las parroquias de indios que existieron bajo la jurisdicción de la Villa Imperial de Potosí, Alto Perú, durante el siglo advertirse aspectos relativos a la organización de estas instituciones, como los ingresos esumen XVIII. Gracias a la información brindada por estos documentos pueden rpercibidos por ellas en materia de pagos y donativos de los fieles; los bienes materiales con los que contaban,-muchos de los cuales portaban significados que nos permiten acceder a claves para comprender el universo material y simbólico compartido por los indígenas que habitaron ese tiempo y espacio-, y también el calendario festivo seguido en estas parroquias, las más de las veces sostenido por las hermandades religiosas que allí funcionaban. Nuestro objetivo primordial es realizar una descripción de las parroquias, demostrando la preeminencia de la actividad de las cofradías en su funcionamiento |
| English abstract | In this paper we get into the study of the churches factory of the Indians parishes that existed under Villa Imperial of Potosí jurisdiction, High Perú, during eighteenth century. Thanks to the information provided by these documents some aspects regarding the function and organization of these institutions can be noted, such as the income receir - ved by them on payments and donations done by the faithful; the material goods they had-many of those carried meanings that allow us to access to codes in order to understand the material and symbolic universe shared by the Indians who inhabited that time and that place—, and also the holiday calendar followed in those parishes, sustained, most of the time, by religious brotherhoods from the area. Our primary purpose is to describe the parishes, illustrating the preeminence of confraternities in its performance |
