| English abstract | In the Geneva approach to the study of discourse (Geneva School), the research on discourse relations (illocutionary and interactive) and their markers privilege the study of how the speaker, to achieve a monological completeness, establishes these relationships to produce an informative textual segment (intervention). However, these studies do not show the influence of ritual restrictions, concerning the preservation of faces and territories, on the establishment of these relationships. Therefore, this paper presents a proposal for the treatment of interactive relationships that considers the impact of ritual restrictions on the elaboration of the intervention. The procedure is performed in two stages -analysis of generic relationships and analysis of specific relationships- and allows a detailed study of the role of interactive relationships in the management of faces and territories, which was confirmed by analyzing the excerpt of a play |
| Portuguese abstract | Na abordagem genebrina para o estudo do discurso (Escola de Genebra), as pesquisas sobre as relações de discurso (ilocucionárias e interativas) e seus marcadores privilegiam o estudo de como o locutor, ao procurar alcançar a completude monológica, estabelece essas relações para produzir um segmento textual (intervenção) completo do ponto de vista informacional. No entanto, essas pesquisas não evidenciam em que medida as restrições rituais, ligadas à preservação das faces e dos territórios em jogo, influenciam o estabelecimento dessas mesmas relações. Por esse motivo, o presente trabalho apresenta uma proposta para o tratamento das relações interativas que considere o impacto das restrições rituais sobre a elaboração da intervenção. Realizando-se em duas etapas (análise das relações genéricas e análise das relações específicas), o procedimento proposto permite um estudo detalhado do papel das relações interativas na gestão de faces e territórios, o que foi atestado por meio da análise do excerto de uma peça teatral |
