| Spanish abstract | En este artículo se presenta una idea de gestión del patrimonio cultural para la ciudad de Mérida- Venezuela. Destacamos que la Alcaldía del municipio Libertador será el ente encargado de establecer ordenanzas que implique políticas públicas, donde la gobernabilidad y la resiliencia sean los aspectos que más destaquen en la protección y salvaguarda del patrimonio cultural y natural, pues el proceso de urbanización y crecimiento en la ciudad de Mérida permite observar en la misma momentos históricos diferentes, destacando cómo en el área de valor tradicional subyacen símbolos representativos de la ciudad que ameritan ser protegidos por el valor histórico y patrimonial que representan |
| English abstract | This article presents an idea of cultural heritage management for the city of Mérida-Venezuela. The Liberator municipality will be the entity in charge of establishing ordinances that imply public policies where governance and resilience are the aspects that stand out most in the protection and safeguarding of cultural and natural heritage, since the process of urbanization and growth in the city of Mérida allows us to observe different historical moments at the same time, highlighting how the representative symbol of the city underlies the area of traditional value, that deserve to be cared for and protected by the historical and patrimonial value that they represent |
