English abstract | In this paper is analyzed under the qualitative paradigm (Martínez Miguélez, 2007) and the symbolic hermeneutics (Ortiz-Osés, 2003; Garagalza, 1990 and Panikkar, 2004) a series of teriofánicas images generated in the imagination during the process of textualization, as well as the act of reading about the fantastic llanera legend. The theoretical basis is on the notion of the fantastic (Todorov, 1981; Risco, 1982; Bravo, 1986 and Sandoval, 2000), the sinister (Eco, 2007 and Trias, 2013) and symbolic imaginary (Durand, 2005). The basic fictional corpus is composed of La Leyenda de la Mula Maniá de la Mata Carmelera. (Medina Lopez and Moreno, 2007) and La Cascabel del Diablo (Aguilar, 2006). It is concluded that the legend, as a fantastic narrative modality, co-fuse the symbolic universes and the reality of Venezuelan man from the plains to make the imaginary presence of the teriofánico constitutes a constant in his literary culture |
