| Spanish abstract | La Participación Social en Venezuela, parte por presentar elementos históricos que permiten ubicar la participación de la sociedad venezolana, para luego transitar en el estudio de algunos elementos que en la historia reciente de Venezuela (1999 en adelante) se han gestado para estimular la concreción de instancias de participación. Finalmente, presenta el efecto que algunas políticas y decisiones han llevado al estancamiento o involución de la participación. En síntesis, La Participación Social en Venezuela, sitúa cómo se está llevando a cabo el proceso de la participación en Venezuela, las circunstancias que le desencadenaron, las ventajas y desventajas que se han generado, así como algunas reflexiones sobre el desvirtuamiento de las instancias de participación creadas en Venezuela |
| English abstract | Social Participation in Venezuela starts by presenting historical elements that allow the participation of Venezuelan society to be located, and then move on to study some elements that in recent history in Venezuela (1999 onwards) have been created to stimulate the concretization of Instances of participation. Finally, it presents the effect that some policies and decisions have led to stagnation or involution of participation. In summary, Social Participation in Venezuela, situates how the process of participation in Venezuela is being carried out, the circumstances that triggered it, the advantages and disadvantages that have been generated, as well as some reflections on the distortion of the instances of Participation created in Venezuela |
