| English abstract | This work aims at analyzing the tax exemption strategy as a business opportunity for factories in the town of Três Lagoas, state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The city has attracted many factories, which established themselves in its area due to the state’s tax exemption strategy. Managers and owners of factories from several parts of Brazil have seen the tax exemption benefit as a business opportunity because it is a strategic matter with the objective of creating competitive advantages in their specific markets. First, the article discusses entrepreneurial strategy. Second, the competitive advantage compared to that of competitors, is analyzed. The results were considered satisfactory for the factories that have established themselves in the town: despite some difficulties, several companies have successfully created competitive advantages in the regional market, offering good future perspectives for the town’s economy |
| Portuguese abstract | Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a estratégia do benefício fiscal como oportunidade de negócios para as indústrias no município de Três Lagoas. A cidade teve a competência de atrair indústrias para se instalarem em seu território mediante a estratégia estadual de isenção tributária, que concede descontos de impostos, além de dar incentivos fiscais e econômicos. Os gerentes e proprietários das indústrias de diversas localidades do país visualizaram o benefício fiscal como uma oportunidade de negócios, pois é uma questão de estratégia com o objetivo de gerar vantagens competitivas em seu mercado específico. A Estratégia Empresarial é discutida de início, a seguir discute-se sobre vantagem competitiva, que é um desempenho superior frente aos concorrentes. Os resultados foram considerados satisfatórios e a estratégia de isenção tributária possibilitou uma grande oportunidade de negócios para a instalação de indústrias no município de Três Lagoas |
