| English abstract | This article aims to present some reflections on the oral narratives of three women who survived severe situations of violence in the city of Parnaíba, Piauí. In 2017 we began a study about gender violence in the city, using oral testimonial history as methodology and concepts of patriarchy and feminicide. We understand that the publicizing of these stories can contribute to the constitution of a positioned feminist knowledge and to the debate about the public policies of prevention and reparation |
| Portuguese abstract | Neste artigo, objetivamos apresentar algumas reflexões sobre as narrativas orais de três mulheres que sobreviveram a situações severas de violência na cidade de Parnaíba, no Piauí. Em 2017, iniciamos um estudo sobre violência de gênero na cidade, utilizando a história oral testemunhal como procedimento e os conceitos de patriarcado e feminicídio como orientação. Entendemos que a publicização dessas histórias possa contribuir para a consolidação de um saber feminista posicionado e para o debate em torno das políticas públicas de prevenção e reparação |
