| English abstract | his article analyzes the construction processes on the project The Queer Face, created by the visual artist and researcher Milena Costa. The paper proposes to develop a 'self theory' through a reflective writing, which (re) thinks the self and permeates through the different stages of the artistic creation in question. Some of the results arising from the artistic experience are presented, contributing to a reflection on the relationship between visual poetics and its dialogues with references from feminist and queer theories |
| Portuguese abstract | Este artigo analisa os processos de construção poética do projeto "The Queer Face", concebido pela artista visual e pesquisadora Milena Costa. O texto propõe a elaboração de uma espécie de autoteoria, por meio de uma escrita reflexiva, que (re)pensa o eu e perpassa pelas diferentes etapas da criação artística. São apresentados alguns dos percursos e resultados plásticos da experiência artística, os quais contribuem para uma reflexão sobre as relações entre as poéticas visuais e seus diálogos com referenciais das teorias feministas e queer |
