| English abstract | The text brings reflections on the consequences of discursive changes of the last decades for the understanding of the sexualities. From the moment, the hegemonic discourse on the relations between sex, gender, desire and sexual practice began to be reassessed; expressions of sexuality that until then were considered pathological received another listening. The text focuses on transsexualities and recent movements of de-pathologization of trans identities. For the author, when psychoanalysts began to listen to the drive dynamics and identificatory movements that underlie trans identities, without theorizing them as a deviation, transsexualities came to be understood as just another manifestation of sexuality |
| Portuguese abstract | O texto traz reflexões sobre as consequências das mudanças discursivas das últimas décadas para a compreensão das sexualidades. A partir do momento em que o discurso hegemônico sobre as relações entre sexo, gênero, desejo e prática sexual começaram a ser reavaliados, as expressões da sexualidade que, até então, eram consideradas patológicas receberam outra escuta. O texto centra-se nas transexualidades e nos movimentos recentes de despatologização das identidades trans. Para o autor, quando os psicanalistas começaram a ouvir as dinâmicas pulsionais e os movimentos identificatórios que subjazem às identidades trans, sem teorizá-las como um desvio, as transexualidades passaram a ser entendidas como mais uma manifestação da sexualidade |
