English abstract The author discusses the relationship between passage to the act and trauma within the possibility of the first being a response to the second. She outlines a brief evolution of the concept of trauma in psychoanalysis, from its definition as “a thrilling increase in the nervous system” connected to the facts until its formulation as an experience of a ruthless real, impossible to be anticipated, which excludes the subject and in which the Other and his desire are implicated. In addition, she speaks about lacanian’s acontributions to the concept of passage to the act, marking the difference between it and acting out and deepens the discussion through a case of psychosomatic phenomenon
Portuguese abstract A autora se propõe a discutir a relação entre passagem ao ato e trauma, e a possibilidade de o primeiro ser uma resposta ao segundo. Para isso, ela esboça uma breve evolução do conceito de trauma em psicanálise, desde sua definição como “um incremento de excitação no sistema nervoso” ligado ao factual, até sua formulação como vivências de um real implacável, impossível de ser antecipado, que exclui o sujeito e nas quais está implicado o Outro e seu desejo. Além disso, ela parte das contribuições de Lacan ao conceito de passagem ao ato marcando sua diferença do acting out e, aprofunda a discussão através de um caso clínico de fenômeno psicossomático
