| English abstract | In this text, the author brings about refl ections on the theoretical and clinical research that he has been making for many years on perversion. According to the author, many of the so-called “pathological” manifestations of sexuality represents solutions found by the Ego in the constitution to survive psychically. From this perspective, “perverted” dynamic drives can oft en represent the only possibility of sexual activity. Th rough fragments of a clinical case, the author shows the relationship between the direction of the analytical work and the theory used by the psychoanalyst. Th e author also presents brief considerations on the Freudian positions about perversion to show the diff erent stages of Freud’s theory, and also the way other psychoanalysts have theorized perversion. Th en the author raises questions about listening to “perverted patients” and the challenges of such listening that appear in transference / countertransference. Th e author makes some criticism of the use that has been made of the word perversion: a kind of fetish used to diagnose quickly behaviors that cause distress and surprise, without a deeper exploration of the dynamics of the drives on the “perversion” presented. From there on, the author draws attention to the consequences of limiting the perverse sexuality to a theoretical and clinical reference, to adjust listening to a rigid nosography category. Th is can produce a clinical numbing as well as theoretical marasmus, which denies the richness of the Freudian discovery |
| Portuguese abstract | O presente texto traz refl exões sobre o trabalho teórico-clínico que o autor vem realizando, há muitos anos, sobre o tema da perversão. Segundo o autor, muitas manifestações ditas patológicas da sexualidade traduzem soluções encontradas pelo Eu em constituição para sobreviver psiquicamente. Nesta perspectiva, dinâmicas pulsionais “perversas” podem, muitas vezes, representar a única possibilidade de atividade sexual. Através de alguns fragmentos de um caso clínico, o autor mostra as relações entre a direção do trabalho analítico e a teoria utilizada pelo psicanalista. O texto apresenta uma pequena digressão das posições freudianas sobre a perversão para mostrar os diferentes momentos da teorização de Freud, e como outros autores teorizaram a perversão. Em seguida, faz considerações sobre a escuta do perverso e os desafi os desta escuta que aparecem na transferência/contratransferência. O autor faz algumas críticas sobre o uso que tem sido feito da palavra perversão: uma espécie de fetiche usado para diagnosticar, apressadamente, comportamentos que provocam angústia e estranheza, sem que uma exploração mais profunda da dinâmica pulsional relativa à “perversão” apresentada tenha sido feita. A partir dai, o autor chama a atenção para as consequências de limitar as sexualidade perversas com base em uma só referência teórico-clínica, e de adequar a escuta a uma categoria nosográfi ca rígida, que pode produzir um embotamento clínico e um marasmo teórico, que anularia a riqueza da descoberta freudiana |
