| English abstract | The aim of this article is to investigate how the drive dynamics of contemporary society reflected in the manifestations of distress and helplessness in situations of loss, separation and bereavement. How have patients reacted to such situations when time demands immediate solutions? How have such requirements expressed themselves in the current clinical work of mourning and what are their consequences to the psychoanalytic work? Up to which extension have the characteristics of our society contributed to the failure of this process? What is the psychoanalyst responsibility in this situation? What psychoanalysis has to offer in this social conjuncture? These are some of the questions and issues of psychoanalytic work that we would like to discuss with colleagues |
| Portuguese abstract | O objetivo deste trabalho é pesquisar de que forma a dinâmica pulsional da sociedade contemporânea repercute nas manifestações da angústia e do desamparo nas situações de perdas, separações e luto. Como os pacientes têm reagido a estas situações quando os tempos atuais exigem soluções imediatas? Como tais exigências se manifestam na clínica atual do trabalho de luto e quais suas consequências para o trabalho psicanalítico? Em que medida as características da nossa sociedade têm contribuído para o fracasso desse processo? Qual a responsabilidade do psicanalista nessa situação? O que a psicanálise tem a oferecer na atual conjuntura social? Estas são algumas das perguntas e questões relativas ao trabalho psicanalítico que gostaríamos de debater com os colegas |
